The Jethro Tull / Ian Anderson Page
Quite probably the only band I can honestly say I am a fan of, Jethro Tull has been around for a very long time (since before 1968) and they are still relatively active. Their music was original then and still stands as a unique mixture of rich vocals and smooth, evocative instrumentals surrounding an array of still-pertinent and sometimes stirring messages. I was introduced to their music in 1985 and have appreciated their sound since. Even if the music itself is not to your liking, the poetry and message behind the lyrics is enough to study.

All copyrighted material (cover art, lyrics, materials copied from the official website) are used with permission of James from the band's management. For information about concert and tour dates, I would visit the band's website (see below). I've neither the time nor the inclination to reproduce that information here.

The Very Best of Jethro Tull

Since the J-Tull Dot Com concert and album, new recordings have largely been comprised of either concerts (consisting of pre-released material) or compilations of pre-released material, so I have not bothered to include them here.
